In 2010, AirTV became an official affiliated member of NaSTA (the National Student Television Association).
NaSTA has been around for 38 years, bring together student television stations around the United Kingdom, who meet up once a year at the annual NaSTA conference. The group aims to promote networking, collaboration and co-operation amongst student television stations, as well as awarding those who have excelled at the annual awards ceremony at the conference.
Additionally, NaSTA actively promotes the recognition of student television work for student employability within and connections with the television industry in the UK.
This year (2010) the conference was held in Glasgow by GUST (www.gust.tv).
AirTV is proud to be a new member of this organisation, and currently one of only two affiliated stations in Scotland.
